A mind map is a sort of brainstorming which comes from a single concept. Say you put a word in the middle of a paper: "Love". The concept "Love" suggests you different kinds of things: love towards your family, towards your friends, towards your spouse, towards your football team, and so on. Each of those concepts, "Family", "Friends", "Spouse", "Football Team", is connected to the central concept in a diagram form. And that's only the beginning.
