When I said it does nothing, I *really* mean nothing 'useful'. It litterally just updates the version tag & OTA build number, and does some obscure stuff with a component of the java framework (Journal), which has, AFAICT, no visible impact for the user.
That's the case both with the 2.5.3 update for k2i & 2.5.6 for k2us.
