I personally am a fan of using EIPS 2 38 ¨Mystuff¨

and keeping reports less than 38 (or something) characters wide. (one liner)
Since this area is mainly not invasive and often overwritten.

A report like your bigger layout report I would be happy to have as a document in documents. like ¨stuff¨ > /mnt/us/documents/LockStatusReport.txt or similar.
and push down an index refresh. just in case

Either way though I like the flash readout too.
