Generic four-bangers may be Dollar Store material but the pro models have stabilized at decent but hardly bargain prices.

If tablets prove to be more than a passing fad, their prices are likely to stabilize somewhere a bit higher than blister-pack calculators. Probably in the $99 range for the entry-level.
