I just started using anki, an advanced flashcard program. It's working well on edge screen - ideal for flashcards. This application is invaluable for language learners or anyone needing to memorize facts.
Supports many other platforms and will sync across any anki client with the sync feature.
Anki is in Japanese - to memorize something

This should come preinstalled as far as I'm concerned. From their site:
AnkiDroid
AnkiDroid is the portable, open source and free version of Anki for Android.
Like Anki, is a program which makes remembering things easy. Because it is a lot more efficient than traditional study methods, you can either greatly decrease your time spent studying, or greatly increase the amount you learn.
Anyone who needs to remember things in their daily life can benefit from Anki and AnkiDroid. For example:
- learning a language
- studying for medical and law exams
- memorizing people's names and faces
- brushing up on geography
- mastering long poems
- even practicing guitar chords!
- And now, on the go!
