New today on PG US, The Game of Rat and Dragon, (Illus) - Cornwainer Smith

For those of you who have never read any of the science-fiction of Cornwainer Smith (Paul Linebarger), Project Gutenberg has just released the story The Game Of Rat and Dragon today.

Cornwainer Smith's science-fiction stories are unlike anything else written in S/F. There are only 33 of them, two of which form a novel. You owe yourself to sample one, even if you don't like short stories.

(Paul Linebarger was probably the greatest expert on Psychological Warfare in the 20'th century. His biographical notes are simply amazing.)

(P.S. his entire works are available at Baen books. They are in 2 volumes, costing a total of 12 dollars. No DRM, and all the formats available at Baen's".
