We have two Onyx Boox 60 (or rather one Bebook neo with onyx firmware and one actual Onyx) and both of them exhibit rather poor battery life in standby (a few days). Compared to other ereaders which (supposedly at least) can survive for weeks in standby, this seems rather poor.

Turning it completely off is a poor solution as the boot time is significant enough to be annoying and more importantly powering it on brings you to the menu, not the last book you were reading.

As others have reported the Wacom screen stays operational even with the stylus in its slot. I dont know if this is a significant cause of power consumption however.

We have tried some of the newer firmware, but it doesnt seem to improve battery life.

Has anyone contacted either Endless ideas or Boox and complained about the battery life? If so, what has been the response?
