Thanks, ebs. It's not so much that I worry, I just want to know. Even something cryptic like 'maintenance update' or something like that.

Alas, I'm starting to worry that it wasn't Amazon. About an hour ago my DX fritzed out on me as I was closing a PDF. It went all black screen, then said there was no life in the battery (there was 3/4ths of battery life left according to the meter just a few minutes earlier). I put it in my bag, brought it home... and now it's fine. Battery meter says 3/4ths again, and everything looks like it's working normally. I'll keep paying attention, but it kinda freaked me out.
