I think this is notable for two reasons:
1) This new interface seems to be part of the Nook and Fire launches, but all Android tablets will benefit-an approach we may see a lot in the future.
2) This is one of the first times I've seen a major release for Android tablets *before* going to iPad-probably due to the Nook and Fire, and also an approach we may see a lot in the future.
