Lots of mobile NY Times sites?

Mobile sites are exploding! According to WapReview, "A year or two ago I'd be lucky if I found a review-worthy new mobile site every month. More mobile sites were shutting down than opening up. That has all changed. I hear of a new site literally every day. I'm hoping to keep up with the flood with more but shorter reviews."

One of the most sought after mobile sites is the NY Times. But there's not just one. "There are multiple Times mobile sites, both official and unofficial, all of which seem slightly flawed."

The list includes (check the actual article for the scoop on each):
Warning: You may need a WAP phone browser for these sites. Standard HTML browsers may not be able to display them.

* www.nytimes.com/wap/
* http://partners.nytimes.com/avantgo/main.html
* http://206.130.125.128/
* http://nytimesriver.com
* http://mobile.nytimes.com

Recommendations? Here's the WapReview opinion:
* Smartphones: Try The Times River
* Basic WAP phones: Try http://mobile.nytimes
* If all else fails, try http://partners.nytimes.com/avantgo/main.html

MobileRead users seem to come up with new alternatives all the time. I wonder if there are any additional good NYT mobile sites out there?
