Today was the big Apple press conference.
Apple showed the SAME issue on a RIM phone, a Blackberry and an Android phone.
iPhone 3GS customer return rate...6%. iPhone 4 return rate 1.7%
Dropped calls? The iPhone 4 has less than one extra drop call in 100s than the 3GS. Jobs attributed the fact that the 3GS was able to use the many existing iPhone cases as to why there weren't fewer dropped calls with the iPhone 4 which has a new shape and cases that fit it aren't out in force yet.
They've sold 3 million iPhone 4's already.
So every one go screw themselves.
No...because they love ALL their customers and want everyone to be happy....
They are giving away free bumpers...and refunds to those who bought them.
The iPhone 4 was the top rated ever smart phone by Consumer Reports except for this issue....and CS said the bumpers solved it. So....there you have it.
