Wow, I thought I was up on my software and I never heard of most of these. Anyway, here's a partial list of the stuff I use most. I'm using Windows 7.

Incredimail (email)
Paint Shop Pro X2
Microsoft Office 2007 (required for online classes)
Internet Explorer 8 (works best for online school portal)
AVG (antivirus)
Ad-aware
BN EReader software
Adobe Digital Editions
Calibre
Kindle for PC
Notepad ++
Digsby (multi chat client)
Windows Media Player 11 (music/movies)
