Aha! Good deduction, murg! There is a poster on another forum that has a new KT that was bought in Canada with (or it updated straight to) 2.1.1, implying that it might be Japanese (or, at any rate, for the Japanese market): https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...=1#post2219896 @p81ff).
