I would recommend any Mark Greaney’s books. Technically these are thrillers not mysteries but they are riveting. Also, if you haven’t already read it, I highly recommend John Sandford’s Holy Ghost and Twisted Prey
Also, I just read Ian Rankin’s Tooth and Nail. I very much liked this one and apparently they just keep getting better.
