It's fiction that is relatively recent. I would hope that it is something that may not fall neatly into other categories (although there may be some overlap with award winners (as long as the award winners aren't Hugo or Nebula (unless they are really outstanding books (and ultimately it is up to the nominations/voting to decide.))))
