Dunno how Murg finds out all that good stuff in the Windows sub-sub-basement, but I followed the directions and got this about my KT:
USBSTOR\DISK&VEN_KOBO&PROD_EREADER&REV_0326\KG3170 602871A&0
USB\VID_2237&PID_4163\KG3170602871A

So PID is 4163 and version no. is 0326, I guess.
