Sigil has a feature that I always liked -- a template page with placeholders to insert a 'customized' cover

by creating a cover.xhtml file in your preferences folder

Maybe [Add Cover] could check for the existence of such a file and use it as a template to create a cover.xhtml file in the edited ebook.
