Hi AnnCook,
I have the Sony 505. It's a great device. Easy to hold and pretty light. It feels about as heavy as a paperback (the steel casing gives it some weight).
The reader is very portable and I carry it with me all over the place.
Since I got the device my reading time tripled since I can carry this book everywhere and not have to lug larger hardbacks around.

SONY has a large amount of books out there they also are priced pretty reasonable.
