Those logs do not show the device being recognised as a USB drive when it is connected. That is a requirement for it be able to interwork directly with Calibre.
You might still be able to work indirectly with it using the Calibre Connect to Folder feature to put books in a nominated folder, and then move the books onto the device yourself outside Calibre.
