Yeah, i fixed my Kobo 905 TOUCH, which is the version without the removable internal micro SD card.

Please try both options on your own risk....

The easy solution for bootloop or corrupt firmware:
Charge ereader for couple of hours.
Turn off the device.
Turn it back on while holding the HOME button.
This will trigger the factory reset.
There is no YES/NO prompt - and please don't turn off the unit while it's doing this.

Or...

I found it much easier to handle the button combinations with your finger instead of using a paperclip so you need to remove the back cover.

1. remove back cover
2. charge the ereader for 4 hours strait (i used an USB cable attached to laptop, PC might be different because of shared usb ports)
3. remove USB cable
4. detach the internal battey
5. re-attach the internal battery and USB cable
6. hold your index finder on the reset button
7. whilst holding your index button also slide the power button towards the on position simultaneously
8. you should notice an blue LED flashing at the frontside of the ereader AND now remove fingers of the ereader
9. if the ereader does not react repeat steps 3 to 7

The process should be completed within 5 minutes.
