UnderSeven, download the Universal Flasher 2.0 at
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...versal+flasher and unzip it to the root of an SD or Memory Stick. Insert the memory card and turn on the 505. If you do get a menu, use option 7 put it into firmware update mode and try falshing your reader again with the new firmware. Also, if you are on a simulated Windows, don't do it from there, but do it on a real Windows system.
