Hey, neighbor! Kovid is right (that should be a no duh since he is the developer). Separate libraries have their uses, such as different users on the same computer who want their bools kept inacessable to others, use of different custom columns for certain kinds of books (the reason I use different libraries), etc. However, using too many libraries, such as one for each genre, will defeat, or severely hamper, calibre from being able to easily access your books for you. The fewer divisions you have in your books, the easier it is for calibre to do its job which is to manage your books for you.

If you would tell us why you have so many libraries, one of us may be able to help you get the most from calibre if indeed you do have too many libraries.
