Got my iRiver Story a few months ago and although its good for reading books and I wouldn't even try to read a book off a lcd computer screen, I must say I'm a bit disappointed with the iRiver Story screen. Although the black text is ok, I really don't like the murky grey background the text is on, it is really off putting when reading.

I've been reading up on the pearl displays and would like to know if there is a big improvement on the display? I'm thinking of upgrading to a device that uses pearl if it has a better background. Like I said, the text is ok, but the grey background is not for me. Thanks for the help.
