The other thing I found wrong in the article was... "The company is also lowering prices of ebooks. New releases and best-sellers will all be $9.99, matching Amazon’s (AMZN) price point for the first time."

The bestsellers on Amazon are 9.99 not new releases so Sony actually beats, not matches, Amazon on this point.
