Free book (nook, Kobo, Kindle, Sony) - Forgotten Realms: Homeland [Fantasy]

Forgotten Realms: Homeland, by R. A. Salvatore is this week's Free Fridays book at B&N. This is the 1st book in the Legend of Drizzt series, apparently about a very popular character in the Forgotten Realms fantasy universe, courtesy of publisher Wizards of the Coast, who I believe are the Dungeons & Dragons people.

Also available free to Canadians and likely others at the Kobo store.

Synopsis
Travel back to strange and exotic Menzoberranzan, the vast city of the drow and homeland to Icewind Dale hero Drizzt Do'Urden. The young prince of a royal house, Drizzt grows to maturity in the vile world of his dark kin. Possessing honor beyond the scope of his unprincipled society, young Drizzt faces an inevitable dilemma. Can he live in a world that rejects integrity?

As for other free books in the B&N store not listed on their rarely-updated and somewhat inaccurate official Free eBooks page, here's the most recent round-up I did of available time-limited promo freebies, and also some nook-compatible Sony/Kobo freebies (scroll down for all the links).
