This is an account of various women standing trial for murder by poisoning. They include Jean Livingstone (Lady Warrington); Frances Howard (Countess of Somerset) Sarah Malcolm, Sophie Dawes (Baronne de Feuchères.), Hélène Jégado, Madame Boursierand the Widow Lafarge.
