Yes, I saw your other post on the Kobo...I was looking at that but something stopped me from buying it..can't now remember what!

And I agree with you re the lack of support (FYI, I a Sydneysider also!)...I was VERY impressed with the speed and quality of response when I had the Bebook for a short time. I bought it from the Netherlands rather than Australia (long story! a mistake) and the Dutch were amazing in their long emails trying to help me solve the problems. After a week of messing about, I just sent it back and within 7 days had an email from PayPal saying the refund was coming through (I'm still waiting to see it appear on my credit card).
IRiver could certainly take a leaf out of their book in that department.
