cripes I certainly hope it's not another awful 16:9 ratio screen. A 10.1" slate with that screen ratio would be like reading a papyrus scroll not a book or computer screen, plus it's actually a small screen not as large and the PR would imply.

More competition is never a bad thing but one wonders given Samsung's partnering with Apple if there is not some sort of non-competition agreement in there somewhere which keeps prices higher than a normal Samsung device might be. Right now a person can buy a Samsung 32"-42" flat screen for less than a Galaxy Tab. Think about that for a minute.
