The ASUS Eee laptop officially went on sale in Taiwan at 5 p.m. Tuesday, and was essentially sold out by Wednesday. See the PC World article.

There is an existing thread: ASUSteK's answer to the Foleo: the Eee PC, and it's $200! with much more information on the Eee. It is due to go on sale in the US on November 1st, but exact pricing is not yet available. It will certainly be more than $200 though.
