I wouldn't worry about that, your tool is both specialised and ahead of its time.
Ereaders are currently quite poor at displaying western style comics (and even manga can be difficult). Once readers with better displays appear, I expect to see
much more interest in your program
BTW, is it written in Tcl/Tk? It's been a long time since I saw one of those.
