This question hasn't been answered yet. I've been reluctant to push myself forward because I don't know if I can really offer anything new or different. One of the reasons I like this club is it broadens my horizons. I don't think I'm as capable of broadening the horizons of others.

Having said that, if we don't have anyone else, I'm quite happy to put forward one book that I'd like to read from each decade of the "Best of the 20th Century" exercise in progress. Not exactly 'out of the box', so if this seems like a pretty unpalatable idea let me know. I have a couple of other themes I could use instead.
