It occurs to me a general purpose
process killer would be helpful.
I have no idea how you are going to package this thing right now so...
I went with the most obvious solution, the killer is packed inside the displayer
"YAD" (latest from svn)
enjoy
can be called like
/mnt/us/extensions/yad/usr/bin/process.sh (pictured) from your "swipe script"
or via KUAL.

EDIT: Okay so I put it back on the dialog layer and added some screen sizing logic to support rotated operation.
there is a BIG
grep "OR" line in there to stop anyone killing anything too fundamental
and a sed line:
sed 's/sh -c lipc-send-event com.lab126.system.event ; sh -c /LAUNCHER: /g' to make the launched things "more noticeable" so do please keep your formatting the same for each thing you launch
