@cryzed: If you're on 5.3.0, yes: the account is locked, so the password doesn't even enter the equation there .

Auth via shared keys (or switch to OpenSSH, I'll admit to never having checked how dropbear behaved on 5.3.0 without the hacked auth (which is disabled when WiFi is enabled) when not using shared keys).

EDIT: Well, I don't think I checked OpenSSH auth via password either, can't remember now...
One thing's for certain: It works via shared keys on both dropbear & OpenSSH, it works via password on dropbear when wifi is disabled.
