Onyx Boox M92 & Apple Macintosh / Mac OS X

I guess it's time to open a thread on how the new M92 works with Macs and MacOSX.

There's one little bug already: when you attach the M92 to the Mac using USB, the Boox will appear as an external HD. If an SD card has been inserted into the M92 beforehand, the card will automatically appear as an additional external HD on your Mac desktop, which is pretty cool. In essence you don't need software like calibre etc. to add ebooks to your M92, and you don't need to physically eject the SD-card every time.

However, the problem begins when you remove the M92 from the Mac Finder. As long as the SD card is inserted into the M92 there doesn't seem to be a way to safely eject both storage devices: they do eject, one by one, but there's always an error message from the Mac about the disks not having been properly ejected, and the M92 screen starts to flicker a bit.

I tried ejecting the M92 volume first, then the SD volume, and vice versa… but there's always the same error message.

SIDENOTE: you can safely format the SD-card using Apple's own Disk Utility software, using the MS-DOS (FAT) preset. No need to mess around with the shell in Terminal.
