A collection of 220 Japanese Haiku, translated by Peter Beilenson (1955).
These include haiku by Basho, Buson, Issa etc.

The poems are accompanied by illustrations of Japanese seals, and are printed in upper case, as was the original book, published by Pauper Press, Mount Vernon.

The source was Sacred Texts.com, who include the following copyright statement: “Scanned at sacred-texts.com, April 2007. Proofed and formatted by John Bruno Hare.
