The question was, why was the PRS-600 recalled from the stores? It was not an issue of the units being backordered, sold out, etc. The units at the stores were removed.
As a loyal Sony customer and someone waiting to buy a few of these readers for family and friends, I would like to know.
Was it a product defect that needed correction, an incorrect firmware version that had issues with the memory cards, problems with the licensing for the dictionary, missing items from the packaging??
