I just read a newspaper article about a company that has started to produce large e-ink displays for commercial purposes:

Oh, I forgot to mention: it runs on 4 AA batteries and will will for several months on one charge...

(the article was in Dutch, as it was in our local newspaper, maybe I'll translate it...)
