I haven't had to use Kindle Customer Service myself, but everything I've read from others here would indicate that their email support is a bit hit and miss, whereas their telephone support is excellent, so I'd definitely second Kindlekitten's recommendation to use the "contact me" feature, and speak to someone directly in Kindle CS.
