My name is Jon Olson, and I'm happy to discover Mobileread! I have a novel, The Petoskey Stone, on Amazon kindle, and this month will add another one, and I'm looking forward to discovering the work of others like myself.

My background includes a graduate fiction seminar with Leslie Epstein at Boston University. I have published a short story, “Old Farmhouse Roof,” in The Antioch Review, and innumerable pieces of journalism in regional magazines, the Milwaukee Journal, and its successor, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, where I worked for 18 years. I have done research and writing projects for Sports Afield, and for two years produced a weekly TV talk show at the local PBS station. More important than all that, I love to ride my bike.
