I am running the latest update and its got summarys for all my sideloaded epubs.
I never understood why they didn't work on my Sony's, figured they knew something I didn't, but the Kobo has them all right there, awesome! I often end up with a bunch of books I have never heard of and need the summary to know which to read, having to google search what it's about seems silly...
