free kindle video player

This works on all eink kindles (tested on DX,DXG,K3,K4,K5). It plays real-time video. On the DX and DXG, it plays a sequence of still images because they have slower eink updates (1.5 frames per second), but those stills are sharper and clearer than full-motion video on eink.

Sound is not yet supported by this player, but this is great for vintage silent short films (famous silent comedy classic included at no extra charge ). There are plans to add sound and network support for streaming videos. The current version must be executed from a command line or script file (launchpad hack, or myts onscreen console, or USBnetwork ssh session, or from a RUNME.sh script, or from the Kindle touch GUI launcher menu).
