Tarana: I realize it's been a few months, but just in case you didn't find the answer any other way, one of the big things is that there's no way to enable third party app stores in stock Nook OS. Which means if you buy any games from the Humble Indie Bundle, you have no way to install them; the Nook won't permit it. Also, you can get a much more recent version of the Android operating system, which is better optimized to run better on older devices like the Nook.

I wrote up a guide to doing it, if you want. Or you can get an N2A card and dual-boot.
