I noticed that 3G icon (on top bar next to signal strength icon) only appear when we are in Menu/Setting list menu.

When I am in the main page (press Home button), 3G icon disappear.

Does this also happen to you? Or your 3G icon is always there (presuming, you turn on the wireless and have 3G coverage in the area), even you are in the main page?
