You don't. Launchpad starts up (at least for me) when i boot into diags.
so theoretically (i hope i spelled that right) i could use cool reader and what not as well until i get the whole thing fixed... Did you know that placing ENABLE_DIAGS in / instead or /mnt/us works just as well to launch diags?
BTW: I don't see any options for ssh
