Actually I tried it with several books in different languages (so with different dictionaries). I tried to change font family and size, but the bug is still here.
Here's the link to a screenshot (sorry, it is in italian, with english books it happens the same). As described before, there are random blank spaces after apostrophe, squares and blank spaces in italics — which sometimes overlap with the regular font.
I take the epub files, hyphenate, and then convert it to azx3.
May the bug be due by some USE_ALT_FONT function error?
I'm running mac os x 10.6.8 and just bought paperwhite.
