You don't need to explicitly add images referenced in the HTML -- Mobipocket Creator will add them in by itself, so long as the links resolve correctly (i.e. point to the image file they should)

The cover image doesn't have to be referenced from the HTML, but should be set up using the Cover Image tab.

If you're unsure, try things and see how the result comes out.

Are you actually supposed to put the images there yourself or it imports them automatically for you because of the links in the HTML file as long as they are in the same folder? The cover itself has to be put in manually right?
