The Kindle integration will be different. I believe (based on everything officially said) Overdrive is just going to hand over fulfillment to Amazon's servers, where you'll pick the Kindle or Kindle app to deliver content to. It is going to support syncing, save your notes/highlights to kindle.amazon.com, etc. So Overdrive is not going to host the content, nor will they know about your Kindle IDs or Amazon account info. They'll just have an ASIN associated with every title they offer. Unlike the situation with Mobipocket content (which is still supported by Overdrive BTW).

It probably will not be possible to return content 'early' as with ePub/PDF.
