While I didn't have the OQO, there are a few shortcomings that the reviews failed to mentioned...First this thing doesn't have a CD-ROM drive, that's understandable given its small footprint... so you will have to use an external one...the reviewer had a firewire one but most pc users are likely to buy a USB one, and the OQO's USB is 1.1 not the high-speed 2.0.
also not mentioned is battery life, many reviews site mentioned something as little as 2 hours. That's not acceptable for road warriors.
