Burroughs, Edgar Rice: The Outlaw of Torn, v1, 28 March 2008.

I read The Outlaw of Torn as a teenager and loved it (of course I loved all of Burroughs, Kline, Howard).

This is about royalty, intrigue, romance, swordfighting, religion, jealousy, and honor.

Here's a brief quote about the book:

"This is a great Medieval adventure story concerning Norman, the Outlaw of Torn. The book tells the tale of the best swordsman in the world, a Frenchman who is enslaved to an English King."

I hope you enjoy it.
