If anyone is interested in lit crit of 50 Shades, I recommend this book

Talking Sense About Fifth Shades of Gray: Fandom, Feminism, and BDSM

I have no connection to the author - I just have enjoyed Lennard's commentary on genre fiction. (it's rare that anyone takes genre fiction seriously and lovingly at the same time.)
